Find inspiration in a relaxing, stress free environment with fellow quilters and fibre artists at Art in the Islands Retreat at Glen House Resort in Gananoque, Ontario, April 18 to April 20, 2008.

Hosted by Seven Threads Studios, our experienced instructors will demonstrate all new and exciting techniques and products geared to the fibre artist. This year we have an expanded the merchant mall to include Cotton Mill Threadworks.

About the Facility

Glen House Resort is located on the St. Lawrence River and has been offering fine dining and accommodation since the early 1900’s. The rooms include two double beds and most rooms have a river view. This AAA/CAA Triple Diamond rated facility has an indoor pool, two whirlpool tubs, sauna and exercise room that will make your visit even more enjoyable. You can also enjoy a walk along the bike trail that winds along the scenic 1000 Islands Parkway or visit the Charity Casino ten minutes away.

The Guest rooms are situated a short walking distance from the main dining room. There is an elevator to the upper conference level from the main floor dining room. Please contact the if you have any concerns about access or mobility

Meals are prepared by professional staff at the Resort and include the Arrival Dinner on Friday night, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, break time snacks and a special Departure Lunch on Sunday. Glen House Resort is a licensed establishment. Arrangements can be made for participants with dietary restrictions if requested in advance with registration and payment.
